An EEG And Cerebral Oxygen Acquisition Device For Cerebral State Monitoring | | Posted on:2018-01-19 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Y Zhang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2348330515489114 | Subject:Biomedical engineering | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | The brain is the most vital organ of the human body.Almost all of the activities of the body are closely related to the brain.It is a hot research on the detection of brain health.Today,there are many detection techniques can be applied to the detection of brain-related diseases.Electroencephalogram(EEG)and near-infrared spectroscopy(NIRS)detection technology which have excellent temporal resolution are widely used in the field of brain monitoring.The electrical signals of the nerve cell activities generate EEG which contain many information of the brain’s physiological metabolic activity.Near-infrared spectroscopy(NIRS)can be used to detect the information of the blood in the tissue which can get a lot effective assessments of the brain’s blood activity or metabolism of the brain.Using the two detection techniques at the same time can get more comprehensive and accurate the information of cerebral state.The integration of EEG and assessments of the brain’s blood activity can be used to get more comprehensive and valuable results.In this paper,an available system is invented to gather EEG and brain oxygen signals with EEG and near infrared spectroscopy detection technology.The system contains the two-channel electroencephalogram(EEG)and single-channel cerebral oxygen signals which can be used to get the information of the forehead.In this paper,the state and the development of the cerebral state detection technology and many new research on combining the technology of the detection of brain function in recent years were described.The basic principle of EEG detection and near infrared spectroscopy was also introduced.The basic scheme of the system and the methods of standardizing the results were also described.The EEG detection system was based on TI’s ADS 1299.The filter circuit and protection circuit in the front part of ADS 1299 was used to ensure the safety of the system.Cerebral oxygen signal detection system had two LED light-emitting diodes as light sources and tow photoelectric detectors.The STM32 was used as MCU to converter the signals and to change the LED’s current by controlling the LED diver circuit.In this paper,some experiments were designed to test the performance of the system and to measure some standardized parameters.The standard EEG signal was used as a signal source to verify the EEG acquisition system.Integrating sphere principle was used to carry out the calibration experiment of the cerebral oxygen acquisition system.The results of the experiments on the body show that the system’s results are correct and accurate.The results of the human body experiments indicate the system is reliable and useful.In a word,the system is reliable and useful which of great practical value. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | EEG, Brain function monitoring, Cerebral oxygen saturation, NIRS, ADS 1299 | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
