Investigation On The Classification Of Domestic History Museum Collections

Collection classification is one of the important links of museum work.It is the foundation and premise for the successful development of the manageme nt in museum collection,collection research and exhibition.Especially in the age of the Internet era,a reasonable classification of collections play a role ca nnot be ignored for closing museums' exchanges and cooperation,meeting the diversification needs of public,as well as promoting the information resource sharing of collection and other aspects.However,there are still many problems in the classification of domestic museum.It has become an urgent need to do this work.As a major component of the domestic museum,the history museum has a large span of time and diversity of the collection.Therefore,this paper takes the history museum as the research object,respectively,teases out the current status of history museum by on-line and out-line,and analyzes the influence factors and the necessity of reasonable classification,at the same time to make a brief discussion on the development trend of the classification of Museum collections in the future.
