The pattern of phased array antenna is an important way to measure antenna parameters.To test the antenna pattern,the active antenna is controlled to form the beam scanning,so that the amplitude and phase of the antenna can be obtained at different frequencies and different positions.But the traditional antenna test system only test for single frequency and single beam,In each frequency and each beam all need to change the test parameters,so that low efficiency,great waste of manpower and material resources,duplication of work.Therefore,the fast and automatic measurement of antenna is very important to the measurement antenna.First of all,introduced the measurement of antenna parameters and measurement technology;implementation of beam control system for antenna measurement system requirements and antenna test system and antenna control unit requirements;based on the NSI-MI universal test system,proposed antenna of multi-beam measurement and control system of the PC program.Secondly,combined with a certain type of phased array antenna is designed to test the waveform controller of general and special combining;through the analysis of hardware design and software design of controller needs to achieve waveform controller;design and development of the phased array antenna test system for fast beam controller based on FPGA;for compatibility and practical implementation of beam control with the measurement system,designed a beam controller based on SolidWorks.Then,in order to meet the input parameters and monitor the status of the antenna,puts forward a scheme of PC program based on C++;and the corresponding program is developed according to the system requirements;after the completion of the development through the joint debugging software itself,and the beam control to ensure reliable operation of software.Finally,the beam control system is tested.The key research is error between beam control and the measured by standard darkroom antenna system under the control of single beam and multi-beam measurement,to ensure stable and reliable operation of control system including the beam controller and system program.
