With the continuous development of IT,the opportunity of pre-school children in contact with media becomes more and more,and they are inevitably surrounded by media information.Due to the convenience of obtaining and the rich and colorful content,children's TV becomes close friend of preschool children.For rural children education resources are limited and relatively singleentertainment,the role of TV program for the process of their growth is important.Since TV program has become a inevitable and indispensable source of information and the education way for rural pre-school children,why not we take advantage of this,and make it play a positive role in promoting rural preschool children's knowledge level and personality traits level?Nowadays,much social status shows that the lack of children's self-control has a bad effect on the family and society.The cultivation of self-control becomesimportant concerns to parents,school and society.Lacking self-control of left-behind children in rural areas arousesmore concern of the whole society.In addition,existing research has shown that preschool period is a key period in the development of children's self-control.So,the study of preschool children's self-control in rural areas has important practical significance.This study based on the theory of TV acculturation,draw lessons from a positive perspective of positive psychology theory,attempts to explore if pre-school children's TV with self control content could lift rural preschool children's self-control.Preschool education TV program“sesame street”,which has achievements in children's self-control training,is chosen as a research text.This research mainly uses the teachers and parents questionnaires and self-control experiment to study on the lifting relationship between pre-school children TV program and rural preschool children' self-control.The research shows that,pre-school children's TV program has promotion to rural preschool children's self-control,specifically including the following four conclusions:Self-control content TV has more promotion effects on4 years old rural preschool children's self-control,and the effect on 3,5,6 years old children is not significant.As a whole,higher scores on teacher's assess of rural children,longer time they wait in the self-control experiment.As a whole,higher scores rural children achieved in teacher's assess,longer time they wait in self-control experiment,and,self-control TV program has obvious impact on lower original self-control children.There was a positive correlation between rural pre-school children's input frequency to the control methods TV transmittingand the length of self-control,which means Audio-visual language of TV programs can have a positive impact on rural pre-school children.Role model in the preschool children's TV set will exert positive effects on children's imitation.The company of high education degree parents can cultivate e rural preschool children's self-control.On this basis,there are two suggestions: one isTV program producer should give more accurate classification for the preschool audience;Second,rural preschool children's parents should enhance cultural accomplishment,to play a positive role when the children watching TV.
