Research On The Adaptive Publishing Technology Of Social Science Journals Based On XML

The way of reading about journals of social sciences is gradually changed from paper reading to mobile terminal reading such as ways of reading on mobile phones and tables,with the development of the new media.However,beauty and normality of content presentation is insufficient because of the diversity of brands,patterns and Windows of different mobile terminal devices and limitation of journal's of format.Specifically,self-adaptation of Chinese prohibition and self-adaption of topology of diagrams and texts,which is about the same periodical content in adaption of page description,including specifications,interfaces and font types,become the key technologies and cores in cross-media publishing study.This thesis,on the basis of literature review of typesetting technology studies home and abroad,analyses shortcomings and reasons of current self-adaptive typesetting technology in normality of content presentation.In this thesis,journals of social sciences is taken as research object.Database and dynamic typesetting technology are used to establish self-adaptive typesetting system of journals,encompassing three self-adaptive technologies of Chinese prohibition,size adjustment of image width page size and topology of diagrams and texts.The four main study points in this thesis are as follow.Firstly,problem of content rendering of content presentation in multi terminal devices is showed in Chinese prohibition typesetting at present.Therefore,self-adaptive typesetting technology by stream text in Chinese prohibition is proposed for this problem.This technology combined with general publishing standard,realizes the normal content presentation based on principle of self-adaptive control.Besides,as for problem of quality and proportion of image scaling within content presentation in multi terminal devices,a technology of self-adaption control is proposed.It uses self-adaptive scaling algorithm to adjust self-adaptive adjusted image with size of page in aspects of image parameters,image position and image size.Additionally,self-adaptive typesetting technology of typology of diagrams and texts is proposed on the basis of XML document to solve the problem of order error with content presentation in multi terminal devices.The technology combines principle of topological sorting and typeset the content according to structuralized data of XML.What is more,in order to solve problem oftransition from Word document to structuralized XML document,a solution project is proposed upon technology of information extraction,which dynamically transforms Word document to XML document through methods of pre-treatment,indexing and extraction.Generally,in this thesis,the format conversion of periodical content and the journal's self-adaptive typesetting based on devices are realized.This system is confirmed valid and practical.Then in a production environment of publishing,it is tested that the technology can afford output demand of mobile reading and digital publishing of periodical content presentation in diverse mobile terminal devices with normality.It can improve the quality of content presentation in terminals,eliminate the market barriers of digital periodicals and build a high-quality digital periodical publishing platform.
