Medical electronic endoscope system is a machine that acquires the body image by charge coupled device(CCD)at the apex of the endoscope and transfers the data to image processor for processing and displaying.In recent years,the medical endoecope system is widely used for diagnosing and surgical operation for its advantage of minimally invasive and intuitionistic.At present,medical electronic endoscope system in domestic big hospitals is large and has many components to be placed on a special trolley.It must be used in particular environment but not available for field,disaster relief,tele-medicine,patrol medical service for rural area.In this paper,an embendded design for electronic endoscope image processor system based on ZYNQ on-chip system is proposed.It effectively reduces the size and power consumption of the system,and meet the demand of many special environment.The researches mainly include the followed aspects:1.The paper introduce chips of ZYNQ series in detail including system architecture,communication of dual-core,AXI 4 bus protocol and its three interface types.The Startup flow of ZYNQ with embedded Linux system was introduced in detail.2.A design for portable electronic endoscope image processor based on ZYNQ on-chip system is proposedl which is introduced from hardware and software including FPGA module functions and implementation,generating and customizing startup files,driver module design,application functions and implementation.Optimize the application with multi-thread.3.Auto white balance algorithm is studied for medical electronic endoscope system.By analyzing imaging characteristics,an algorithm model based on white patch theory and estimation of local tenmperature is proposed.Subsample model is used to simplify the algorithm and decrease the processing time.
