| White balance is a very important character representing the quality of color TV. White balance's adjusting is necessary in the quality control of TV's manufacturing process. Because of LCD's special view angle's characteristic, the original automatic measurement & adjusting system designed for CRT TV is not applicable for LCD. It is necessary to study an automatic measurement & adjusting system for LCD TV.The paper introduces advantage and disadvantage of old-designed white balance measurement & adjusting systems. The research focuses on the design of a automatic measurement & adjusting system which will be used in white balance adjusting toLCD TV with I2C bus interface. The paper consists of six chapters.The first chapter introduces the trend of TV and the characteristic of LCD display, describe the disadvantages of the original white balance measurement & adjusting system. And the paper brings forward the research direction.The second chapter clarifies luminosity and chroma measure keystone, measure methods and instruments word theory. In this chapter the paper also introduce the method of adjusting white balance of digital TV, put forward the framework of LCD white balance measurement & adjusting system.The third chapter introduces signal generator, CM-7L color analyzer, and I2Cbus interface.The forth chapter discuss the system software design which is the paper emphases. The software controls the signal generator, which makes the brightness can be tracked.The software also controls the 12C bus interface. By setting the LCD TV's decoder,the software adjusts the white balance of the LCD TV.The fifth chapter introduces the result of using the system.The sixth chapter introduces the specialty of the LCD white balance automatic measurement & adjusting system. In the end the paper put forward some advices ofthe system. |
