With the requirement of the next generation electronics, polymer storage devices have attracted more attention due to their unique advantages, such as:low cost, easy processability, large area, low power consumption, flexibility and so on.This work focuses on a full-solution process of polymer bistable devices.Normally,in the polymer bistable devices, top electrodes have been fabricated by vacuum evaporation while the bottom electrodes are ITO.This work has demonstrated a solution process to fabricate the device electrodes with a good device performance.(1)This work studies the annealing temperature effects on the electrical properties of the solution processed Ag films.AFM and SEM imaging has been used to investigate the surface topography. The conditions are optimized for fabricating Ag films. The final result shows the Ag film with a good electrical conductivity and the small surface roughness can be achieved by annealing at 140? for 30 min.(2)The insulating polymer, poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA),has been used to fabricate the polymer bistable devices due to its good dielectric properties and stability. Our group have fabricated the bistable devices with good characteristics based on PMMA combined with PCBM?PEDOT:PSS?MAPbI3?Ir(ppy)3.This work demonstrates a series of PMMA based electrical bistable devices with the solution processed silver electrodes. In these devices, either top or bottom electrodes are solution processed Ag electrode with different polymer active layers. The devices exhibit a good electrical bistability with the maximum on/off ratio of 104.Finally,the working mechanism of the device is investigated. This work has demonstrated a simple, low cost method to fabricate polymer bistable devices. This method has a potential application in the large-scale printed electronics.
