The Design Of The Function Of Dds Signal Generator Based On Sopc

DDS is a new frequency synthesizer technology that the waveform required is synthesized from the phase directly, marking the third generation of frequency synthesizer to appear. Design of DDS Function Generator Based on SOPC is studied in this Subject.Frequency Synthesizer Based on DDS technology, DDS model is created using DSP Builder, such as sine wave, square wave, sawtooth wave, triangle wave, AM wave, FM wave, PM wave, binary amplitude shift keying wave, binary frequency shift keying wave and binary phase shift keying wave, and VHDL files are generated by Signal Compiler tool, and DDS components are generated in a Quartus II project. In the Quartus II project, the project top-level entity is created, that included the DDS device, Nios Ⅱ soft core processor and the PLL circuit, after setting the model of FPGA, the project is compiled to generate FPGA hardware SRAM Object files, at last the FPGA hardware design is completed. FPGA hardware circuit and peripheral such as Flash, SDRAM circuit, DAC circuit, LPF circuit, power amplifier, LCD display circuit, the keyboard circuit, configuration circuit, clock circuit, reset circuit and power circuit are configured DDS Function Generator hardware circuit. Taking Nios II IDE as the software development platform, the C language is used to design program. After program compiled, debugged/run successfully, FPGA hardware SRAM Object files are downloaded to the EPCS chips, and software ELF are downloaded to Flash memory using the Flash programmer.Experiments show that the DDS function generator based on SOPC has high frequency resolution, frequency conversion fast, wide range of frequency synthesizer, phase continuous changes, low phase noise and low phase shift, great flexibility, development cycle is short and life cycle is long, etc.
