Bistatic MIMO radar is a kind of MIMO radar which the transmitter is separated from the receiver.It not only combines the features of bistatic radar and MIMO radar,but also make up for the deficiency of both.Thus,it has the advantages of strong antiinterference ability,high target measurement accuracy,high positioning accuracy and good RF stealth performance.Therefore,how to use the advantages of bistatic MIMO radar to achieve accurate target tracking and positioning is of great value.The application of different orthogonal waveforms makes the bistatic MIMO radar exhibit different performance.Therefore,it's necessary to study the ambiguity characteristics of orthogonal waveforms and analyze their influence on radar parameter measurement,which is of great reference significance to the design of bistatic MIMO radar system.This thesis is based on the background of guidance radar,in which the orthogonal waveform characteristics of bistatic MIMO radar and its application characteristics are studied,and target detection,target tracking capability of bistatic MIMO radar are analyzed.The corresponding simulation research is also carried out.The specific content is as follows:1,According to the geometric configuration of bistatic MIMO radar,the signal echo model of the stationary target and the moving target is deduced.The definition and composition principle of the three kinds of orthogonal signals are introduced respectively.The definition of bistatic MIMO radar ambiguity function is given.2,Based on the definition of bistatic MIMO radar ambiguity function,three kinds of orthogonal signals' ambiguity function are deduced respectively.These signals includes SFD-LFM,quadrature phase code signal and hybrid quadrature phase code and LFM signal.The advantage of OPCM-LFM waveform in target tracking ability and anti-interception is analyzed by comparing with SFD-LFM,quadrature phase code signal.3,The basic theory and algorithm of bistatic MIMO radar target tracking and positioning are introduced.Based on this,the bistatic MIMO radar simulation system is built and the main modules in the simulation system are described.Around the target tracking,the system simulation is carried out.And under the same conditions,the tracking performance of MIMO radar and phased array radar is compared and analyzed.The simulation results show that the pulse accumulation can reduce the system positioning error.The target tracking ability of the three orthogonal signals is simulated and analyzed,the results show that OPCM-LFM signal has the highest tracking accuracy.
