As a mass media,TV is not only a tool system,but also having the function of meaning construction and value communication.To a certain extent,television's shaping of culture influences our understanding of the world and value judgement of the so-called "truth and false","good and evil","beauty and ugliness".During the period of Bourdieu's early military service in Algeria,engaged in the ethnographic study of the local people,the experience created since he thought development the foundation,also made him a philosopher from turning into a social scientist.In the process to the study of sociology,Bourdieu noticed that TV media influence in society,which prompted him in the social practice theory from the perspective of some TV Phenomenon at that time to expose and criticize the sharp,and thus formed a unique media thought.The subjective choice of the news media,the control and examination of the content of the program make the audience become the bearer of "symbolic violence".With the continuous penetration of commercial logic on television,audience ratings,market share has become the focus of competition between the various media.In this process,the TV field on other field caused by the different degree of restraint: the news events reported by the bias of social reality,the field of science and art field contributed to the misjudgment of the pseudo intellectual living space,the cultural field damage caused the flooding of vulgar culture.Finally,according to the background and development status quo of China's current TV,analyzes the Bourdieu's TV view to the positive meaning of TV in our country,and points out its limitations.The audience is a potential revolutionary,the construction of TV culture is not always top-down,in the new era,the construction of culture from each person's cultural awareness and cultural self-confidence.
