The project comes from a certain electronic Co.,Ltd.a semi-automatic crystal wafer sorting machine appearance optimization design project.The wafer sorting operation generally take the sitting position,the operation process requires frequent upper hand for a long time manual operation,which is a typical manual work types.If the design of wafer sorting equipment does not in conformity with the principle of ergonomics,manual operation for a long time can easily lead to a series of musculoskeletal diseases.Comfort is that people always pursue.In the process of product optimization design,according to product characteristics and operation methods to design the appropriate evaluation method,Which can help designers to found the ergonomics problems and give the corresponding of the optimal design direction.After the optimization of the design is completed,use the experimental evaluation to assessment the selected design scheme,which can help us in line with ergonomic principles,so as to enhancing the comfort of the use of products and reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disease workers.After a user interview with the general manager and engineer of the cooperative enterprise,I learned the main target users of the product,the process of crystal wafer sorting and the key point of human-computer interaction during crystal sorting operation.Then,the working space of the machine is analyzed,according to the target users and the national standard,choose the appropriate date,calculated and given the reference value of basic size date.In addition,user interviews were conducted to understand the problems encountered during the operation,and a user experience map of the wafer sorting operation was constructed,the visual presentation can help designers better understand the problem in the process of user experience.According to the characteristics of the wafer sorting operation,an ergonomic evaluation method based on the user's working posture is constructed,which is based on the RULA,supplemented by the evaluation of the subjective comfort and workspace,and gives the corresponding evaluation index.The method is used to evaluate the current products and find out the problems in the current products and give the corresponding optimization design direction.At last,the appearance optimization design was carried out.a variety of product appearance schemes were designed,and the design scheme was screened by Delphi method.And validated and evaluated the selected design with the evaluation methods constructed prior to ensuring that the optimization scheme conformed to the ergonomic requirements.The results of this study include: recalculated the basic size of the product to the target users and giving the recommended values;constructing user experience map of the wafer sorting operation to visually display the problems encountered by the users when using the products;Constructed a corresponding ergonomics evaluation method based on the characteristics of the wafer sorting operation;The ergonomics evaluation experiment is carried out for the product which the cooperative enterprise needs to optimization,and the existing problems are found out and the corresponding optimization design direction is given.Designed several of scheme and optimal scheme is selected,the result of the experiment shows that the scheme greatly improves the comfort of the user during operation.
