Augmented reality is a branch of virtual reality.Unlike virtual reality,Augmented reality combined virtual objects(picture,video,3D model,etc)with real environment perfectly through three-dimensional graphics and visual tracking technology,in order to achieve augmented reality environment.At present,the problems that hinder the development of AR mainly include two aspects:one is the registration error caused by optical distortion and system delay.The other is the development and application capacity of the traditional augmented reality tracking class library FLARToolkit is low,and the availability of PC terminal is limited,unable to bring the users the most vivid experience.In this paper,the following problems are studied:1)First,In order to solve the problem of camera distortion,a method based on chessboard to calibrate the camera manually is proposed,by comparing the parameters with the most widely used calibration method based on OpenCV,the re projection error value is found can be successfully controlled in a lower range,thus the accuracy and superiority of the algoritlhan are confirmed.Moreover,the parameters of chessboard image and chessboard specification which affect the method are compared to optimize the external parameters in this paper.2)In the aspect of system development,aiming at the problem that AR system based on FLARToolkit is lack of capacity and usability,a multi markers recognition logic mechanism is designed to improve AR system development ability.On this basis,the children's education system is realized based orn multi markers.3)In view of the AR system delay problem caused by the large computation data of pattern recognition file,the pattern matching precision threshold is adjusted through the results of different pattern recognition files under different light condition and different deflection angles to reach a certain balance of performance and stability.4)Finally,with the popularity of China high speed railway and the rapid development of smart mobile devices considered,the promotion of diversity and innovation requirements are getting higher and higher.On the basis of the AR prototype rewritten above,a high-speed rail publicity system with real-time AR characteristics is designed and implemented.
