Live performances,as an part of culture industry, fail to make themselves realize extensive and rapid transmission because of the limit of space and time. However,"Internet+ Performance" may become a viable solution. This paper designs and implements an Openfire-based live performance system by using a fragmented way of live show.Firstly, the paper analyzes the current status of live performance system and their development significance.Secondly,it introduces related technologies necessary for realizing basic system modules.Thirdly,it carries out a needs analysis from the functional and non-functional aspects respectively, and makes an outline design on this basis, such as system structure and module division. Finally, the detailed design and implementation of modules like login, live and barrage at the Server and the Client are separately described. This paper adopts the C/S architecture in the system. The Server uses Openfire as an XMPP server in the system, and secondary development is made to improve the bearing cap of a single server. The client consists of two platforms, namely Android and IOS for most mobile phone users. The Client of the system has hit shelves on Apple App Store and Tencent, and has provided users with a number of live performances which are highly spoken of.The realization of this system is of importance not only in high commercial value but also a better reference value for the design and implementation of the broadcast systems of the same kind.
