Design And Implementation Of Original Document Management System Based On OCR Technology

The original document is the basic record for the enterprise management and accounting process, with a large number of valuable information, but in most of the enterprises, access to original documents information is mainly through the identification of human eyes. The management of the original documents is generally used by paper file management method, the efficiency is very low. There are some enterprises use the image technology to manage the original document, but it still does not solve recognition and information retrieval problem. With the development of computer technology, there are a handful of companies trying to use image recognition technology make the original document management automatic,electronic and digital.The principle of OCR technology is introduced in detail in this paper, and how to use OCR technology to make the information of paper original document graphic ?electronic and structured. This article based on a Power Company original document( e.g. VAT invoices?the signed contract)'s business characteristics to design and develop the function of original documents management system.Optimize the traditional invoice management process, replaced by the supplier carry invoice to the Power Company and scan the invoice in self-service system. Get the invoice information and real-time check automatically by the system, then feedback the results to suppliers in time. Finally to achieve VAT invoice intelligent management, and greatly enhance the VAT invoice test trial and settlement efficiency.OCR technology is widely used in publishing and media industry. But the application of the original document management in a grid enterprise is still in the initial stage.With the ascension of the OCR recognition rate and anti-interference rate, more and more kinds of enterprise management original documents will be recognized by OCR.
