Accompanied by the rapid rise suddenly of clothing e-commerce, the development of apparel retail industry is facing serious challenges. Combined with development of apparel retail entities in China and foreign countries, the successful application of technology such as RFID will promote leapfrog development of the garment retail entities in every time.Considering the operation status of apparel retail entities and the quantity of product viewing on e–commerce, we could attain product data from consumers viewing in the retail entities with the Wireless Sensor Networks applying in apparel retail entities, which would provide data support for data processing and data mining.First of all, the overall hardware design of structure was analyzed in this paper. Then the hardware design of network nodes was proposed as the core part of the system hardware design. What's more, the type of the sensor, the wireless communication module, and the node microprocessor were also selected. The circuit diagram of node hardware was presented in the final.However, the specific application of wireless sensor network in apparel retail entities was introduced, and the number of selection of cluster in network was reduced via the algorithm by calculating and setting the cluster head residual energy threshold. According to the regional division of the cluster spot, optimal cluster head with the most density of nodes in different areas and the minimum energy consumption of cluster was found by the algorithm, which would replace the original cluster head. The density of nodes is various in different stores. The optimal quality of cluster head based on the minimum energy consumption of networks was found by the algorithm. The improvement of design of wireless sensor network routing protocol was realized by this three strategy. According to the experimental simulation, it turns out that the the algorithm is effective.The operation status of clothing store was analyzed in this article. The congestion relieved by selecting another cluster head in cluster spot was realized, which achieved inter-cluster congestion mitigation and cancellation by non-uniform stratification of networks and resource scheduling(Wake-up sleeping nodes closing to the congested node). The article also proposed Lowest Energy Multi-hopping Path Tree(LEMPT) that would achieve the minimum energy consumption of nodes, and the whole networks as well. Compared to other transmission paths, it could improve the link quality. According to the experimental simulation, it showed that the congestion algorithm is effective and reliable.In this paper, the database was designed and built according to the structural and functional requirements of apparel retailed system. Meanwhile the user interface design based on the requirement of application was achieved.
