We live in an information society which is connected by the media.On one hand,pervasive information elements invaded our living space absolutely,on the other hand,they propelled the socialization of mankind in silence.Cultural landscapes constructed by media became a double-edged sword of love and hate in modern society.The good and bad mixed media culture created by man,and commune with people's perceptions in the media game.Versatility of media culture must call the corresponding areas of derivative-media literacy,to ensure independent of mass in media culture and the value of the media culture itself.While the concept of media literacy includes not only the media,also contains the methodology of selecting,touching,using,participation and creating of media content.The original intention of the research of media literacy in Western countries is to protect young people from the mass media,but thereafter the development of mass media corrected the wrong ideas,the meanings of media literacy turned from opposing with popular culture simply towards diversification.From the perspective of modern media society,an endless stream of new media products,media platforms,media expression gives us unprecedented information experience,also brought a new topic in media literacy.Based on Bibliometrics measures,The present thesis study the China's mainland academic achievements in media literacy from the perspective of cited literature.Using the thesis on media literacy published on five selected mainstream journals of news and communication as sample,firstly scanning and features extracting for these thesis on media literacy resources,and using the Citespace Visual of literature analysis software on sample literature of keywords and author for total analysis,then extraction China City media literacy research of theme partition and main author cluster status generally.Finally,tracking the media literacy institute academic resources referenced in the theme changes each time period by Bibliometric analysis software,and examine the evolution of academic subjects in the field.The study found that the media literacy research in China far not formed stable research learn group,subdivision field is insufficient to building full of subject system,and there has not been formed a good academic traditional in geting and using academic resources,we need refer to more outside academic research of latest results and the useful resources in external subject,make more efforts to find subject discourse and research problem of media litercy,and building the research paradigm and system of media literacy research field.
