Using B/S structure, it improves the adaptability of this system. Also, it uses SSH framework to divide this whole work into database persistence layer, view interaction layer, and business logic layer, corresponding to Hibernate, Struts and Spring. In addition, it enhances the safety and stability of the system's running environment, which also helps optimizing data. Moreover, it provides many conveniences during system's deployment by the adoption of Tomcat6.0 middleware.In the Science and Technology Service Management System for Dongguan City, there are four main businesses which are technology information management, expert database management, R&D management and service supermarket management. In the technology information management function, it manages the presenting and applying of the notifications. The expert database management function mainly includes the management of experts'information. In the R&D management function, there are project management, fee management, intellectual property management and reports form management. Meanwhile, project management function consists of project information management, budget details management, related intellectual property management and project check management. The fee management function includes voucher management and related project management. The intellectual property management function is made up of intellectual property information management and renewal of patent management. Reports form management function consists of annual fee details management, monthly fee details management and individual fee detail management annual auxiliary account management. Service supermarket function includes the management of information on the main areas of technology services.After the system was formally put into use, it effectively strengthened the links between various enterprises and the professionals in the field of science and technology.
