Remote video surveillance technology has become a research hotspot in the intelligent engineering vehicles.It has high research significance in research and practical value and has received people's attention.As for bulldozers,in order to enable the operator to see the scene of them and it is necessary to study remote video surveillance system of remote controlled bulldozers.Combined with the working environment and requirement of bulldozers,remote video surveillance system is studied in this paper.According to the demand of remote bulldozer in the working environment and remote surveillance system,remote embedded video monitoring systems are designed,which includes vehicle system,communication network and monitoring center.The system takes the embedded platform of S3C6410 processor as the core and adopts USB cameras for video image acquisition.Video transmission uses 4G wireless network,and finally the operators can watch video by the browser of computers in the monitoring center.The system employs two USB cameras for image acquisition.It transmits the video images to the client through the network and displays them in browser.Firstly,considering the economy and practicability,it is designed that the overall scheme of the remote video surveillance system is based on the investigation of the working environment of the system.Secondly,through the analysis of remote vision of the bulldozers and camera type,combined with ergonomics and the eye's height of human body posture etc,cameras are selected.Then the location of cameras is determined in theory and the rationality of it is verified.Meanwhile,the image acquisition module,video compression/decompression module,network transmission module and client module are designed for the system.The design will focus on the client module,mainly is:(1)Using CGI technology to design the login function for users.(2)The display time and the frame rate of video transmission are designed by the HTML language on the client browser page.(3)The detection and alarm function of moving objects is designed.Finally,the software platform is developed,and the cross compiler environment is built.Then,according to the embedded hardware platform of S3C6410 processor,the u-boot,linux 2.6.38 kernel,yaffs2 file system and 4G wireless network card driver of the software platform are transplanted.The Mjpg-streamer of video streaming server and the embedded Web server are transplanted into the system.The Web server adopts B/S mode.After designing the system,the whole system was tested.The test results show that the clients can watch the video by the login permissions of the users and the video image is clear.Not only can realize the detection and alarm function of moving objects,and the browser page also shows the monitoring time and the transmission frame rate.The average frame rate is 18.557 fps,without significant delay.The system is stable and reliable which can well meet the demand of video surveillance of remote controlled bulldozers.It has the advantages of easy expansion,low cost and good effect.
