New media mainly refers to relying on digital technology,Internet technology,mobile communication technology and other new technologies to provide information services to the audience of the new media.It has the advantage of being digital,large capacity,easy to check,simple,high interactive,convenient and so on,With the continuous development of new media technology,subtle changes in our way of thinking,lifestyle,communication,Asthe only island county in Shandong Province,Long Island county has some differences in terms of resources,production and other aspects,It is the media environment,the performance of traditional media is extremely missing,Long Island residents can only rely on new media access to information,entertainment,to meet their needs.However,the focus of research on the relationship between new media and people and Society for college students and young white-collar groups,almost no attention to the residents of Long Island,the behavior did not get enough attention in academic circles,not knowing the influence of new media on Long Island residents media life far more than other groups.Therefore,the study of the impact of new media on the media life of Long Island residents has certain research significance and innovative research.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,mainly shows the research background and research significance.The second chapter is the literature review,the first of the "new media" and "Long Island residents" are defined;secondly from "on new media and the human and social relations and other issues of research","research" the use of the new media environment and meet the "on" the research object three aspects analysis of the research literature at home and abroad to island residents,in order to determine the"uses and gratifications","media" and "personality" as the theoretical support of this article.The third chapter is the research design,respectively research on in this paper,the research methods,research framework,research object and sample selection,questionnaire design;put forward what is the basic situation of Long Island residents in the use of new media,new media and Long Island residents satisfaction and What are the factors of two research issues,according to the second research questions,the age is smaller,the use of new media,the higher the satisfaction;female residents are easier to obtain than men meet the residents;there is a correlation between the occupation and satisfaction of residents engaged in;the higher the income,the use of new media,the higher satisfaction;live longer the use of new media,the higher satisfaction;the higher the degree,the use of new media,the higher satisfaction;the use of new media for longer periods of time,the new media satisfaction is higher;there is a correlation between the use of new media time and satisfaction;there is a correlation between the motivation and satisfaction of the new media;the ten hypothesis is related to attitude treat the new media and satisfaction;finally put forward the innovation of this paper.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the basic situation of the use of new media,first from the age structure,gender,education structure,Occupation,residence time of analysis the basic situation of Long Island residents to use new media;followed by analysis of individual factors,social factors,habits,motivation,attitude and relation of Long Island residents use new media satisfaction,that there is no correlation between personal factors and other factors on the conclusion satisfaction,satisfaction correlation;finally through the above conclusion,summed up the new media era,Long Island residents use new media from the media showing the overall way of life,from personal motivation to group motivation,use three features from the tool used to ritual.The fifth chapter is on the development of new media development suggestions should be put forward life to strengthen the function of new media,new media to strengthen government function,reasonable suggestions of strengthening the new media shopping function.The sixth chapter is the conclusion,summarizes the above This paper also puts forward the shortcomings of the research in the sample selection and theoretical support.
