With the development of imaging radar technology,more and more technology is widely used in military,medical,automotive,detection and other fields.These techniques are mainly divided into scanning and no scanning in two ways.The scanning mode can measure farther than no scanning mode,but the scanning device is complex and work slowly.However,the structure of no scanning mode is relatively simple and work fast.In the field of non-scanning imaging radar,the most representative of the techniques are gate-slicing technology and gain modulation technology.And intensified charge-coupled device(ICCD)is required by the two imaging techniques to detect image information and achieve gain.O n the other hand,ICCD are not only e xpensive,but also larger than normal sensor.These factors have limited the rapid development of imaging radar.A novel scheme was presented in the thesis.It replaced the device of ICCD with a conventional charge-coupled device(CCD)in the field of 3D imaging radar.Based on this scheme,the experiment which used a non-laser light and the CCD with electronic shutter was made to achieve adjustable gain for 3D Imaging.The light imaging radar system was used to achieve the intensity image and the distance image of the target by two imaging.High power light emitting diode(LED)as the light source and CCD as the sensor were employed in the system.And the image information was collected by A/D Module in order to make analog signal digitized.It was obtained by USB module to transfer the image information to computer.Ultimately,3D information of the target was gotten using these data to process and calculate.The FPGA chip of Altera which named EP2C5Q208 was used as synchronous system to control the pulse signal of the LED,the drive signal of CCD,A/D,and the transmission signal of USB.The firmware of USB in circuit board and the software in PC were essential so as to make the USB device work properly.And the USB device which was made from Cypress was chosen.
