Software Design Of Automatic Test System For Microwave Products

Microwave products are widely used in aerospace,radar,ships and other military equipment,they are very important parts for wireless communication,radio navigation,radio detection and ranging,and precision guidance.In recent years,under the background of China's significant investment into military equipment,software and hardware requirements of this industrial chain rise rapidly.However,most domestic research institutes,private military enterprises who engaged in the research and development production of such products are still using traditional or manual methods,which is less efficient,more costly,and which can no longer adapt to the demand of the market gradually.In order to lower the investment into the field of professional technical of human resources,time,and hardware equipment,the concept of test automation is introduced into the microwave products manufacture.This research looks into the automatic test system for one microwave product of XX Company.A set of software system suitable for automatic test of most mainstream microwave products is developed in order to improve the test efficiency and provide support for and development and manufacture of microwave products.Starting from the research background of automatic test,this thesis discusses the development history and the current situation of automatic test system and its software.Software requirements of automatic test system is analyzed in combination with the working principle of microwave products or devices under test(DUT),and thus the overall design of the automatic test software framework is presented.The software is developed based on the design concept of software engineering,using Lab Windows/CVI as the software development platform,adopting the top-down,hierarchical design method,in combination with the idea of hierarchical and modular in detailed design.The software has a friendly interface,strong human-computer interaction,and is easy to use,highly automatic,and also has the advantage of good versatility and expansibility,which fully caters to the index of manual testing method of microwave products.Finally,this automatic test software is put into actual use and thoroughly verified.The software is modified and optimized according to problems found during the test,and it finally fulfills the goal and meets the operating requirements of the production line.
