With the rapid development of Chengdu Telecom 3G wireless network and the increasing number of users in recent years,more and more network planning problems need to be solved urgently.Planning is the cornerstone of the entire network construction,has a pivotal position.However,within the operators,the real applicability of the network planning is only just beginning.Our network planners are shouldering enormous challenges and missions.Network planning is the prerequisite to meet the operators to develop a user development plan,professional level and the requirements of the construction funds to improve as much as possible indicators of coverage,and provide a good foundation for later expansion and upgrade of the network.The background of this paper for the network planning during the Chengdu Telecom wireless network fourth network construction,this is also the Chengdu Telecom wireless network department first completely independent of network planning,based entirely on the actual network.Through the joint efforts of everyone,is the successful completion of the planning work,and verify the various planning ideas,for the initial establishment of planning system of its own,also accumulated a lot of experience in planning for the future.In the second chapter,the planning method based on high precision simulation is discussed.Simulation is a fast and efficient way to obtain planning solutions,and simulation is also one of the most important tasks in planning.However,the traditional simulation accuracy is often not high,and the results are far from the actual coverage effect.How to greatly improve the simulation accuracy is the focus of this planning work.In this paper,the main simulation work,such as geomorphologic division,model correction,simulation input,simulation output and result comparison,are introduced in detail according to the actual situation of Chengdu.Through the massive data acquisition and data analysis in the earlier stage,the simulation work is finished with the help of the high precision map and the high precision transmission model.Then,this paper introduces how to make network planning through current network measurement data,and network measurement is a very important supplement to simulation.From the previous simulation prediction to the current network test,further closer to the actual data of the network,and more accurate understanding of the actual coverage of the current network signal.Through a large number of network test data analysis,to find out the existing problems in the network,and targeted point for targeted planning adjustment.After the completion of the planning program,through field testing to verify the planning effect.It is fully proved that this planning method has high pertinence and feasibility for solving network problems.Finally,it discusses the special planning methods.This part is also the biggest innovation point in this plan.The cell coverage is currently the focus of operators of the planning work,but because the site is limited,radiation disputes and other reasons,the coverage is also planning a very difficult part in the work.The plan uses a special antenna,in the interior through the construction of a rented room to solve the problem of cell coverage,in the National Telecommunications Planning is also the first time.This plan has many advantages,such as short construction period,good coverage effect,outstanding economic benefits,and so on,and it will be popularized in Chengdu all the time.
