Passive millimeter wave detection imaging technology due to its good detection on metal or part of the non-metallic and other hidden targets,the detection means without radiation,it is suitable in airports,stations and other public places for human security check.It has become a hot research field in recent years.The detection system receives the millimeter-wave brightness information of the scene's own radiation,and uses the post-processing techniques such as signal processing and image processing to form a image that can be displayed on the display terminal.In the passive millimeter wave detection imaging system,the signal processing unit plays a central role,which is mainly responsible for transfer the millimeter wave information collected by the data acquisition unit into the millimeter wave image.The author of this paper take the real research project as a platform,and take a depth research and design on it.The specific research contents are as follows:1.Based on the theory of blackbody radiation and the basic theory of embedded software,the system architecture of the passive millimeter wave imaging system is briefly described,and the important role of the signal processing unit in the whole system is analyzed macroscopically.2.In the passive millimeter wave imaging system,since the fusion images not only have the advantages of rich expression of optical image information,but also have the characteristics of millimeter-wave images that can show hidden dangerous goods.Therefore,an algorithm of optical and millimeter wave image fusion based on contourlet transform is proposed.3.The hardware structure and software architecture of the signal processing unit are studied.The author set up the corresponding hardware system,designed the corresponding application processing software,and completed the signal processing unit software system debugging.4.A series of preprocessing algorithms based on practical application are proposed and implemented for the practical problems encountered in the imaging process of imaging system.Experiments show that the preprocessing algorithm has achieved good experimental results and improved the imaging quality of the imaging system.Through the verification of project acceptance and the verification of related experiments,the signal processing unit designed in this paper have achieved good expected results.The proposed algorithm based on contourlet transform achieves the expected effect The proposed algorithm based on practical application also effectively solves the related problems.
