Since 1970 s,with the development of pulse radar technology,as the characteristics of pulse signal,Ultra-Wideband(UWB)have attracted people's attention.In the beginning of this century,the Federal Communications Commission(FCC)opened the available band of UWB technology and after that time the UWB technology has been rapid developed.Compared with the traditional narrowband technology,UWB technology has wider bandwidth,higher resolution,and anti-interference ability and other advantages.Therefore,UWB technology is probable to become a high data transmission mainstream technology in the future.For UWB technology research,it involves kinds of aspects,such as front-end UWB transmission circuit,UWB antenna,and back-end UWB receiver circuit,signal processing.In UWB radar reception system,the signal acquisition is very essential to process the data of radar conveniently.Generally,UWB signal is a very narrow pulse in the time domain,according to Nyquist sampling law,using ordinary real-time acquisition system requires the high-speed A/D conversion chip and it is more difficult to buy and has a high cost.So how to use ordinary low-speed A/D conversion Chip,to achieve high-speed data collection,UWB radar system is essential.In order to study the realization of UWB radar signal acquisition,this dissertation is divided into following parts.The first part of this paper introduces the significance and definition of UWB radar signal acquisition,and then it demonstrates various methods of UWB signal acquisition.After that it shows the relative analysis among different collection methods.Then,the theoretical basis of signal acquisition is introduced in detail.Based on the theory of signal acquisition,the technical difficulties of UWB signal acquisition are analyzed.And according to the technological difficulties of UWB signal acquisition and utilizing the method of equivalent sampling,it designed the framework of acquisition system.And the system of the various modules were analyzed and demonstrated in detail,to prove the feasibility of the system.The circuit interface of the system is the basis of the system software control design,so the paper introduces the circuit frame of the system in detail.The whole system adopts Field-Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)as the control core,and uses the embedded method to control the external circuit to realize the equivalent sampling.The paper gives the detailed circuit of each module and the final PCB schematic.Afterwards,this dissertation studies the software control module of the system.According to the characteristics of the field programmable gate array,the related control procedures of the module interface of the acquisition system are designed by VeryHigh-Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description language(VHDL),including timing control,data storage,data transmission control and The overall control of the system.And the function simulation program of the control system is designed.The simulation results show that the designed control program can realize the function of the system control by using the function simulation program to verify the function of each module and the cascade function of each module.Finally,there is a summary of this dissertation paper summarizes the work and looks forward to the future work.
