With the rapid development of domestic stone industry,China has become the global leading stone brick production and marketing country.Huge stone brick market promotes production and processing technology of the domestic stone brick with the rapid development,and has higher requirement about the quality of the stone brick,traditional detection methods can't have satisfied the stone brick products testing with the requirement of high precision,high efficiency.With the rapid development of high and new technology,machine vision begins to be used in the automatic detection equipment,online detection technology obtains the qualitative leap.So this paper designs the stone brick geometry size online detection system based on machine vision.The system is the automation equipment,which is based on machine vision and integrates computer technology,machinery and electronics technology,measurement technology and so on.The system uses the emerging vision measurement technology instead of the traditional manual exposure measurement,overcome the artificial detection with low efficiency,only completing random sample,measuring result not stable,artificial cost higher and so on,realize the stone brick real-time detection,timely find quality problem,timely adjust production process parameters according to the analysis results,improve the qualified rate of products,reduce costs,and improve enterprise efficiency.The system specific implementation process is:The CCD camera gets the overall image of stone brick,and then image information is transferred to PC system,through image processing algorithm and the size calculation to obtain the geometry size of stone brick,the quality of the stone brick grades is judged according to the standard size,the nonconforming product is out of production line,at the same time test results will be recorded in the database for later analysis of the statistics to provide data support for the system and process improvement.The whole detection process is complete by the system independently,without human intervention,the testing results is stable and reliable.The main content studied by this paper is:1)Based on the research and analysis of the present machine vision detection system,online detection system suitable for large size stone brick geometry size is designed,and the key components are selected and parts of organization are studied and designed;2)Based on the research,comparison and analysis of the image processing algorithms,a pixel processing algorithm suitable for the detection system,is use to improve the detection accuracy without any increase in the premise of CCD camera resolution,and the way to use the homogeneous transformation matrix to geometric size calculation is put forward;3)Use LabVIEW platform to complete the PC program writing,and realize image processing algorithm through the LabVIEW mixed with the MATLAB programming,finally realize the precise detection of stone brick geometry size,and real-time display and storage of test data and realize statistical analysis data function;4)Complete the hypogyny machine PLC programming to control the motion of the whole detection system,in addition,study communication about LabVIEW and PLC to realize the upper machine under a fast accurate machine PLC control;5)Analyze category and source of error,and put forward the corresponding solutions to improve the system accuracy.
