The forest fire monitoring is elaborated between the seriousness of the forest fire hazard and the significance of the implementation in this article,and the present situation are researched on the world’s forest fire monitoring,the survey found that the deficiency is exist in the traditional forest fire monitoring,then research a set of system: the advantages of infrared thermal imaging technology to be used to make up the deficiency of the traditional forest fire monitoring.Three modules of the forest fire monitoring system based on infrared thermal imaging technology are design,namely the system related theory module,fire monitoring and control system module and forest fire monitoring system software module design.First,the advantages and disadvantages of the related theory in the module of infrared thermal imaging feasibility and practical significance of this monitoring system is analyzed,and introduced the infrared thermal imaging technology;In the infrared thermal imaging technology of infrared thermal imaging monitoring system working principle,photoelectric conversion principle of infrared detector,the infrared image processing technology were discussed and research.Second,the fire monitoring system module and solution are given,and the detail research on the selection of the real-time infrared signal processing platform,network bandwidth of the infrared hot image in the network transmission,the real-time performance affected by the network jitter is apparent,the image effect is not ideal and can’t meet the real-time requirements,this paper use the wireless network real-time video data acquisition and transmission technology.Third,in the forest fire monitoring system software module,for most of the local PC video acquisition,coding,transmission,not smooth,can not meet the requirement,this paper USES the h.264 standard image compression coding technology,implementation on infrared image compression;Infrared thermal image is realized by using real-time transmission protocol RTP stream in the network.Finally,the design of the forest fire monitoring and control system is completed,through many times experiment research show that the infrared thermal imaging technology has been successfully applied to forest fire monitoring,can be found early hidden fire hazard and eliminate hidden dangers.
