The Planning And Design Of Campus Monitoring System

This thesis uses the present main stream digital video monitoring system as the design solution.Based on the network,the design has multi-level management system.Through quick network transmission,an entire network monitoring system covering the whole area is built together with a video monitoring network.At the same time,the equipments used in the system fully take into consideration the problem of daily maintenance to make the maintenance services simple and convenient.Through regular facilities maintenance,normal operation of the system is guaranteed.Working with the current domestic advanced security products and the high-speed campus network,the intelligent monitoring system has been successfully built and applied in Hainan Vocational College.Based on conformation to the design principle of each module,the front video sampling module and alarming storage module,the terminal display and control module have been completed.The information between the front and terminal modules is transmitted in two ways,i.e.through twisted-pair cable and optical fiber.In the design process,fully making use of the existing campus local area network(LAN),all the monitoring information in the teaching area is integrated.By doing this,the design of the middle transmission line is eliminated,and convenient construction is achieved.At the same time,the system's compatibility and expansibility has been enhanced,resulting in a remarkable reduction of the construction cost.Using powerful embedded software management platform DSS7016 and ESS storage devices,the data is well storage and managed at the terminal modules.In the process of transmission of video data,we mainly used the H.264 encoding to compress video data and used RTSP streaming media transport protocol for video streaming data transmission.In addition,with advanced decoding service controllers and a TV panel(connected by 9 DVI sub-panels,forming a 3 * 3 TV panel wall),a goal monitoring terminal is achieved.Due to the entire network video monitoring,a variety of ways to access the video signals have been realized,ensuring the safety of the teachers and students in the campus,and strengthening the teaching quality.
