With the development of industry and improvement of energy-saving requirement,AC variable frequency speed regulation has been widely used in electrical power,metallurgy,petroleum,chemical industry and other fields.Along with the power electronics,micro-electronics technology and the development of control theory,power semiconductor devices and micro-processor performance continues to increase,leading to a significant development of variable frequency drive technology.Accordingly,the test on electromagnetic compatibility of AC frequency conversion cabinet is of great importance for its safe operation.In this paper,electromagnetic compatibility for AC frequency conversion cabinet(LK1000)has been carried out.Some of the test projects,including the harassment of radiation,conduction disturbance,RF radiated electromagnetic field immunity,RF induction due to conducted disturbances immunity,immunity to electrostatic discharges and lightning surge immunity,have been performed.Based on the principle and mechanism of the tests,the electromagnetic compatibility properties of the cabinet have been estimated and revisions have been made to improve the each corresponding property.Such a conclusion can be employed in equipment design,management and operation for the sake of its reliability and stability.
