The casualties caused by explosions in war,military conflicts and terrorist activities as well as industrial production such as coal mining and blasting operations,have been widely concerned by media and researchers both at home and abroad in recent years.However,this kind of casualty is mainly about human organs' damages caused by blast wave.Therefore,it is of great practical and scientific value to carry out the research on the safety assessment of explosive shock wave on human.This paper explores the mechanism of the explosive mortality and blast wound by means of theoretical analysis,algorithm design,software compilation,numerical simulation and so on.Firstly,combined with the current status of research at home and abroad on traumatic effects on explosive shock wave,along with evaluation mechanism of explosive shock wave's effect on human trauma in various safety assessment models,the assessment methods of the explosive mortality and blast wound were discussed in detail.Secondly,based on the basic theory of explosion power,especially the calculation method which considers the pes and es impacts on the explosion overpressure and impulse in the open space,the impact of explosion environment such as explosion type,information on explosive sites,person's exposure information on explosive shock wave power are discussed.By the means of safety assessment theory of explosive shock wave on human and designing algorithms of assessment system,various basic types of shock wave(lung rupture,skull damage,body movement,etc.)have also been in research.At the same time,safety assessment can be divided into five sub-steps,namely:in the first sub-step completing the calculation of overpressure and impulse,in the second sub-step determining the probability of lung injury,in the third giving the whole body displacement casualties and the injury probability,in the forth giving the injury probability of the skull fracture.In the fifth assessing the integrated trauma,constructing the sub-modules of safety assessment including weapon description module,pes place information module,es place information module,the explosive power evaluation module and so on,designing the specific process and evaluation algorithm of controlling program.Finally,the accuracy of the safety assessment system is verified by the case calculation.The result shows that the assessment system has a friendly interface,stable running performance and accurate numerical evaluation,which can meet the requirements of simple,rapid and accurate performance of engineering software.It can provide the rapid and effective reference of damage effect in the medical trauma,warhead design,range test and other fields,so as to meet the needs of engineer assessment on human safety.
