UHF Radio Frequency Identification(UHF RFID)is a kind of automatic identification technology in the field of wireless communication.It is widely used in manufacturing,logistics management and asset management.Being the important parts of the UHF RFID system,the reader-writer antenna,the system application software,the hardware layout and the data processing have received increasing attention.At present,UHF RFID systems at home and abroad are the main trends in the following aspects:(1)According to the trend of unification of system standards,various countries and regions are actively working on frequency band and system compatibility;(2)The reader-writer antenna should cover all working frequency bands of global UHF RFID as far as possible,and achieve wideband,high gain,low cost,simple structure and easy processing;(3)Application software should be more scientific and intelligent,so that the working efficiency of the system,working distance,confidentiality performance can be greatly improved;(4)Different hardware and software systems and different hardware layouts for different application environments make UHF RFID technology achieve the best performance on this occasion.Aimed at the design and optimization of the laboratory equipment management system based on UHF RFID,the reader-writer antenna,application software and system layout of RFID technology are based on the National Electronic Information Technology Experiment Teaching Center Construction Project of Dalian Maritime University Antenna Microwave Institute Development and research.The main completed works are as follows;(1)An improved T-type power splitter with 90-degree phase shift is proposed,and a circularly polarized reader-writer antenna for UHF RFID system is designed.The determination process and adjustment method of the size of each part of the multilayer antenna are described.The influence of the T-type power divider on the performance of the antenna is analyzed,and the effect of the rectifier on the matching performance of the antenna is introduced at different positions.In order to meet the needs of the antenna applications,this paper has also designed the miniaturization of floor slot,circular polarized reader-writer antenna.(2)Based on RFID technology,and adopting the combination of PC terminal,network terminal and hand-held terminal,the asset management system improves a lot.Except the basic functions of the asset management software,the system realizes one-key quick inventory of assets,monitoring,lack of accurate positioning of assets and other functions.(3)The factors that affect the reading distance of passive UHF RFID tags are analyzed in detail.Based on the practical environment of the laboratory and considering the factors that affect the reader-writer distance of the system,the passive UHF RFID laboratory equipment management system is analyzed and optimized.
