USB2.0(Universal Serial Bus 2.0)Flash drive is widely used as a convenient mobile storage device.An USB2.0 drive is being upgraded to faster data access speed,larger storage capacity,and the security is required recently.A method,inputting password by keyboard with a menu(a kind of application software),was used to communicate with traditional USB2.0 drive to provide privacy data protection.This method has cracked(such as: hackers steal,sniffing capture,etc.),and the application software might be hacked.So did not satisfy most of the security expectations.Proposed a high-performance security encryption USB2.0 drive design which uses NAND flash memory as storage media.The S261 micro-controller chip developed by Sage Microelectronics Corp is applied by the design.S261 is a dual-CPU micro-controller chip,including the Supervisor Unit Processor(SUP)and the Channel Processor Controller(CHP).SUP,built-in encryption engine,contained a variety of international and domestic popular encryption algorithms,is responsible for USB communication,information encryption and peripheral control functions;CHP is responsible for Flash algorithm management functions.High-performance security U disk encryption designed in this paper was developed by SM2/SM3/SM4 cryptographic algorithms by our country and consisted of safety design module(including chip safety design,firmware safety design and data security design,which realized date security storage).By studying the Flash Translation Layer(FTL),improving the address mapping mechanism,optimizing garbage collection and bad block management,the read and write performance of U disk was improved.This thesis designed the high performance secure encryption USB2.0 drive successfully.The high performance secure encryption USB2.0 drive can stably run on multiple operating system platforms and has the function of data encryption and decryption make information secure storage.Compared with common USB2.0 drive,it is better than their reading and writing performance in same test environment.The high performance secure encryption USB2.0 drive has been used in mass production,and is of high value in business.
