Design And Implementation Of Supermarket Management System

With the expanding of small supermarket scale,the commodity quantity grows sharply along with their information.The supermarket always needs to analysis the information statistically.At present,the management system of large supermarket is highly priced;and the function is too complicated.These will lead to reduce the efficiency of some small supermarkets.And the small supermarkets don't have a suitable management system.They need to handle the data by hand which will result in the defects such a s low efficiency,high error rate and etc.And what's more,the purchase of the supermarket is analyzed and judged by a particular person which is time-consuming.If the data analysis and the delivery prompt is reminded by computer,this will be helpful for the purchase of selling products and grasp business opportunities.Therefore,the design of a functional and simple operated supermarket management system is very necessary.The thesis of this system is realized with C++ language and adopts the C/S structure,the Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 development tools,and SQL Server 2008 database.It includes the functions such as basic information management,sales manage ment,warehouse management,billing management,financial management,sales data a nalysis and system management,and etc.Through the analysis of the sales data,we will get which products are the selling products and which are unsalable products.The supe rmarket manager will manage the supermarket more efficiently according to the analysi s data.This thesis first introduces the project backgrounds,the goal of system development,and the structure.And then analysis the system needs,the database system and gives the operation flow chart,E-R chart and so on.Moreover,it explains the whole process the supermarket management system and emphasizes the main function and the realization of the system.At last,it forms a complete management software and processing the system testing and results analysis.It summarizes the design and implementation of the paper,lists the main references,interfaces testing,stress testing,installation and testing,and then gives the test results.Finally,it summarizes the work of this thesis and prospects the future work.
