Broadband communication testing-board is the connecting circuit between spring needle which lies in test porthole of integrated circuit test system and pin of integrated circuit tested.It is usually based on insulation board and cut into fixed sizes.It has well-designed conductive pattern and aims at achieving the mutual connection between input and output ports and pins of integrated circuit.With the demand of integrated circuit 's date rate getting higher and higher,the ability to test the rate provided by integrated circuit test system is growing higher and higher,and so is the demand for Broadband communication testing-board's transmission performance.When transmission rate is lower than 300 Mbps,the performance of Broadband communication testing-board has little influence on the whole integrated circuit test system.While the rate is higher than 300 Mbps,the performance of Broadband communication testing-board will have greater influence on the integrity of signal.This subject,based on the research of The 709 Research Institution of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation about calibration technology of 300Mbps-3.8Gbps Broadband communication testing-board,is aimed at the study of automatic testing system on LabVIEW platform,which is to test the transmission rate,signal attenuation,error rate and rising time.This thesis is mainly based on intensive research on the method testing parameters of Broadband communication testing-board's transmission rate.At present,the method testing Broadband communication testing-board's transmission rate is through observing the changes of transmission rate's quality through determining the performance with eye pattern.According to the demands and acceptability of clients,we can judge whether the performance of Broadband communication testing-board is qualified or not.Obviously,this kind of non-quantitative judgment criteria has no persuasion and can not satisfy the requirement of magnitude traceability and transmission of national defense industry's microelectronic parameters.Therefore,we put forward a method which is based on six points method principle and is combined with eye pattern gained from test to judge thetransmission rate.It's applied to solve the deficiency of the present test of transmission rate of high-speed signal,to keep the Broadband communication testing-board used by national defense industry in ideal state and at the same time to satisfy national defense industry's requirements for magnitude of microelectronic parameters.The principle of the six points method is to estimate the and judge the transmission rate of signals under the comparison of the ratio of estimated areas of eye pattern in actual measurement state and ideal state with given threshold value.This thesis carries on the testing experiments by transmission rate of 300 Mbps,1.6G and 3.8G.The experimental results show that this transmission rate method of automatic test system can well accomplish the work of testing parameters of Broadband communication testing-board's transmission rate.Being exact and intuitive,the results of the test have strong practical engineering value in determining the transmission rate's magnitude of national defense industry's Broadband communication testing-board.
