With the rapid development of computer technology and the application of network technologyin various industries,speed of the information construction is more and more quickly in retail and service industries.The requirements of electronic commerce grow with each passing day for various industries.After more than 10 years information construction,China National Tobacco Corp has set up some systems to regulate requirements for information management of tobacco companies,and market-oriented reform the of cigarette will be carried out by further application of electronic commerce.Based on the case study of cigarette sales business of a Tobacco Monopoly Bureau,this paper firstly describes the background and significance of the system.It lists some relational techniques,for example SQL SERVER2012,JSP,J2 EE and MVC etc..Then it analyses the system needs and the feasibility of the system development from the technique,economy and operability.It carries out a deep analysis on cigarette salebusiness from the system management,contract management and basic data management.On this basis,the system functional requirements,non-functional requirements and characters are analyzed,and use case analysis for module function is described by UML use case diagram.In the process of system design,system architecturesof four layers are designedfrom the customer,representation,business logic and data.Such as system management,contract management and price management,the system function modules are detailed analysis and designed by the activity diagram.Then the implement of the system are briefly described.Finally it has carried on the simpletest of performance and the system and function,and satisfactory results have been achieved.The design of cigarette sales management system of a tobacco companyhad been basically accomplished.Use of the system in a tobacco company can improve the efficiency of cigarette sales management and sales effectiveness.It make due contributions for the realization of "Internet tobacco".
