The Research Of Driving System For Foldable AMOLED Panel

The AMOLED display has thin,high contrast,can achieve flexible display and other advantages,and has been widely recognized as the third generation display following CRT and TFT-LCD.AMOLED display technology based on glass substrate has matured and move into mass production stage after more than ten years of development.The AMOLED display technology based on flexible substrate research and development in the initial stage,the panel manufacturers are actively carry out foldable display technology development.There are two research directions in the foldable AMOLED technology,this paper has selected one of the technical directions,and has carried on the research to its drive system.The main research contents of this paper include: at first,how to solve the synchronization control problem of two COF driver chips? The technical direction this paper selected needs using two driver chip,because display content on panel needs to be unified and synchronous,there is no commercial timing controller solution,so it is important to research and develop a low cost timing controller solution.Second,complete the research and development of RGB TTL signal to MIPI signal circuit;COF driver chip for small inch AMOLED display is used in MIPI high speed signal,self-timing controller uses TTL signal.So develop drive circuit and its control system to realizing the conversion of MIPI and TTL signals,which is an important problem of develop timing controller.Third,the development of the gate control signal module circuit;gate circuit is the core technology of AMOLED display,and different gate circuit needs different control signals,so display manufacturers are expected to develop a gate circuit control signal software module,which can be used easily.
