Radio Direction Finder technology is the most significant and irreplaceable technical method in the fields such as radio position fixing, electronic warfare and radio communications control. Its main task is to find the direction and the position of the radio communication source. Then the orientation of interesting Radio Spectrum should be done. This paper focuses deeply on the design and implementation of the correlation interferometer direction finder system. To be scientific, the status and developing trends of extract technology of interferometer direction finding is summarized so that the research program could be formulated properly.Based on the research of the advanced hardware system, the radio direction finder system control software is designed and developed.Based on requirement analysis of the direction finder system, the design plan is proposed by building software requirement analysis model and designing system framework. From the perspective of consumer application,it designs main work patterns:system initialization, system maintenance, analysis of signal demodulation,as well as Signal tracking and direction finding.Besides,it designs user interface and function process. It also researches and tests key technologies such as data association, airborne instability, signal finding under excess noise, data packet dropout,etc..Finally,the test method and test environment are determined, and problems in the test procedure are analyzed and regresses. The proposed system software has been tested in the field of direction finding system on the base of the hardware and the software system debugging. It could complete the required tasks stably.
