LED die prober and sorter all-in-one equipment is a new important integrated equipment in the LED industry chain. Bin system which is one of the key modules for automation serves as loading and unloading module in the equipment. It is important to improve the loading and unloading efficiency of Bin system which has great influence on the efficiency of this equipment. This thesis which aims at improving the efficiency of Bin system proposes an automatic calibration method and dynamic storage location assignment which are key technologies of Bin system. The works have strong engineering significance. Main works and innovations are as follows:Firstly, the requirements of Bin system in the all-in-one equipment are analyzed. The structure design of Bin system is introduced and the functional and performance requirements are proposed. Based on the requirements, the schemes which includes the definition of key positons of Bin system, the design of business process and the design of safety of Bin system are completed.Secondly, the factor of Bin system position calibration is analyzed. And an automatic calibration method is proposed. The precision and repeat precision is analyzed and cassette loop test is designed. The results show that the automatic calibration method improves the calibration precision and efficiency, and they pass the cassette loop test.Thirdly, scheduling process which is the base for loading and unloading of Bin system is designed. A simulate software by C# language is designed to verify the scheduling process. Strategy of dynamic storage location assignment is proposed. The model which is solved by the genetic algorithm of distance of transportation system is established. The calculating results show that dynamic storage location assignment can reduce the distance.Finally, the integrated software including user interfaces and relative functions of Bin system is developed. The key loading and unloading efficiency is verified, so is the result of dynamic storage location assignment. The results show that the key loading and unloading efficiency satisfies the requirements and the dynamic storage location assignment can reduce the distance of transportation system and the time of Bin table waiting for changing plate, so the loading and unloading efficiency of Bin system is optimized. During the experiments, the results of automatic calibration of Bin system are also verified.
