The low-level wind shear has become a risk factor which seriously impact on take-off and landing. Different windshear has a unique wind field characteristics, and impact on the aircraft's flight differently. It requires the pilot to make the most correct operation for different types of wind shear. Therefore, the detection of low-level wind shear, and the identification of its type is very important. Due to its sudden and short duration, there is lack of the actual sounding data. So there will be conducive to windshear detection and identification, with the monomer shear wind field simulation data. Compared to the microwave weather radar and wind profiler, Doppler lidar can work in sunny weather and has high precision and high resolution. And it has become one of the most effective tools for detecting wind field.Based on Doppler lidar and airflow field theory, the three-dimensional simulation of the microburst, side wind shear, low level jet stream and tailwind-or-headwind shear has been accomplished. The lidar scan database is established to solve the problem of wind field data acquisition. The image processing method is applied to identify the type of wind shear. The shape characteristics and singular value feature of the image are extracted, and the type is identified using artificial neural networks and SVM classifier respectively. With these methods, it reaches a higher recognition rate base on the sample with complete information.Because of the obvious differences in the same sample and the sample with incomplete information, a multi-feature extraction method is adopted. The texture features is extracted to recognize the type of wind shear combined with the shape characteristics. A tow-step recognition algorithm based on SOM-SVM is adopted to recognize the images effectively.Compared with the traditional study of wind shear, the method in this paper neglects the meteorological factors which is completely transformed into the study of image processing.And the type of the low-level wind shear is identified effectively.
