Pipeline transport is an emerging and economic mode of transportation, especially intransporting gas, liquid, slurry and other bulk product it has natural advantage. With the rapiddevelopment of economy, our country will become a big pipeline powers, this way, it is animportant subject ahead of us that how to reduce the economic loss and environmentalpollution caused by the pipeline leakage. Therefore, it has important theoretical and practicalsignificance to develop a online pipe leakage detection and localization system which isreliable and effective and suitable for the status of Chinese pipeline.This paper takes the water supply as experiment object, analyses the productionmechanism, frequency characteristics, propagation characteristics and noise characteristics ofthe water supply pipeline leakage acoustic signal, and on this basis, considering the actualneeds of the field work, according to the design thought of low noise, low cost and lowpower consumption, and balance the cost and function, this paper designs a set of pipelineleakage acoustic signal data acquisition device. The device mainly includes accelerationsensor, signal disposal module, filter, amplifier, data acquisition module, main control unit,memorizer, man-machine interface and communication module, etc. The acceleration sensorselects inside installed IC piezoelectric acceleration sensors with type LC0151T of CompanyLang, it can convert the weak vibration signals come from the pipeline leakage to electricalsignals; on one hand, the signal disposal module provides constant current source powersupply for acceleration sensor, and on the other hand, the signal disposal module makes theoutput signal of sensor as exchange acceleration signal after straighting off the bias voltageby straight processor circuit; the filter is used to prevent the outside interference and whitenoise which included in the useful signals collected by sensors, so it can improve the signal-to-noise ratio; in order to meet the needs of the subsequent signal acquisition, the amplifier isused to amplify the weak signal obtained by sensor; The data acquisition module realizessignal sampling and A/D conversion function; main control unit plays a part in global control,and realizes the data processing function; Communication module is used to complete thetransmission of data and command between the system and upper machine. This paperdesigns hardware and software system, it also takes performance test and function test for thedata acquisition device, and the relevant indicators can meet the design requirements.This paper adopts two sets of acoustic signal data acquisition device, collect acousticsignal at the first and end collection pipeline, and processes the acoustic signal, then transports the results to upper machine. The upper machine monitoring system adoptsLabVIEW software development, it can make comprehensive analysis to the first and theend of the pipeline leakage signal, at last gives the pipeline leak status and the position ofthe leakage points, this paper has carried on the related experimental research.
