In recent years, with the aging of the population accelerated, it leads to the worldwide shortage of medical resources. In order to solve this situation, we need a real time and effective device to solve this problem. The Wireless Body Area Network can help us to monitor the health status of the elderly, so as to ease the current tension of medical resources?WBAN has great potential application value in medical application, electronic consumption, military activities and so on. So many people pay attention to it.Because of the social nature, the multi-WBAN may appear in the same scene with other wireless communication networks in practical application. With the overlapping of communication range in the Body Area Network or Body Area Network and other communication system coexisting in an environment Body, it may lead to serious interference on Body Area Network. At the same time, it may also reduce the reliability and efficiency of the body area network.Firstly, the concept and characteristics of Wireless Body Area Network was introduced this paper. Then we summarized the application of body area network in remote medical treatment, health care services, military and other aspects. At the same time we expounded the significance of the study. Secondly, we mainly studied the physical layer and MAC layer of UWB WBAN. The synchronous head of the physical layer, physical layer and the service data unit of the physical layer were analyzed in detail.By referring to the IEEE802.15.6 standard, the physical layer simulation model was built on the existing TH-PPM UWB WBAN system and the existing DS-PAM UWB WBAN system. Moreover, the performance analysis of the WBAN UWB system was studied when the IEEE802.11 a WLAN interference signal was present. We did some Simulation experimentations on the DS-PAM UWB WBAN system and the TH-PPM UWB WBAN system. Bit Error Rate performances on the DS-PAM UWB WBAN system and the TH-PPM UWB WBAN system in the IEEE802.11 a WLAN signal interference condition were compared and analyzed.In this paper, we studied the problem of electromagnetic Interference on the Body Area Network. It provided a reference for the coexistence in the WBAN system or the coexistence between the Body Area Network communication and radio communication system. This has a certain theoretical value and significance of the research in the following research.
