Design And Implementation Of IPTV STB Browser

Along with the integration of telecommunications networks, broadcast television networks and the internet, more and more technology is put into it, that also promote the development of embedded product. As the most important product of triple play, IPTV(interactive network TV) is latest product which combines digital technology, broadband technology, IP technology and the browser technology in one.Be different from traditional television,it realize the business of live,time-shifted play,vod play and look back. In addition, with the use of browser technology, IPTV also add a series of features such as web browsing, TV shopping malls and video games.Aiming at the market demand of IPTV business,I design a set of programs to extend and modify the browser.Firstly we introduce how we implement the account services,broadband services,itv opening service and network access service. All we do in this part is docking the management server and is a prerequisite for entering the IPTV. Last we explain how we realize the extension javascript object Authentication in detail.Secondly we make a series of changes in browser kernel webkit aimed at some problems about the electronics menu's use.Firstly we implement the page resolution controls of web pages to support the different screen resolutions and page resolutions.Then we implement the focus move algorithm which taking the Euclidean distance and the alignment into account.At last we achieve compatibility of some event processing which is not processed by browser.Finally we discuss how to implement the interaction between web pages and local media player object when explaining the extension javascript object MediaPlayer's implementation.At the same time we explain the process of browser when controlling the player.Last we introduce how the browser process the player feedback events when some particular event of mediaplayer occurs.
