IPTV is a new technology-based services of broadcast television network, China’s Internet and telecommunications networks, cable triple play together, and a collection of multimedia and a variety of browser technologies and the Internet for home users with a variety of audio and video.Browser technology for the IPTV system provides convenient access to network resources functions, it can be considered based on the IPTV set-top box software platform play between the system and network middleware.This paper analyzes the major browsers at this stage of development at home and abroad to introduce the software architecture of IPTV terminal and the overall structure of the browser, IPTV terminal can be divided into system control module, IPTV browser, IPTV players and inter-process communication these four modules; browser can be divided into the overall structure of the presentation layer, inner nuclear layer and driver-related layer.Then we discussed the major browsers at this stage of development at home and abroad, accordance with China Telecom extends IPTV authentication object (Authentication), playback control object (MediaPlayer), browse control object (Navigation), a common object (Utility), and special event object (Event).As the set-top box user and system interact mainly through the operation of the remote control to achieve for this particular interaction, we designed and implemented for the browser focus aiming point algorithm based on the efficient focus control system; the same time, IPTV set-top boxes for high-definition widescreen TV display equipment.
