With the growing of the international transport, sea lanes has become a lifeline to the survival and development of each country, in today's maritime transport enterprise vigorous development, how to ensure the safety of ship can efficient sailing on the sea, has become a subject navigation staff pay close attention to. Although now a lot of modern ships are installed on all kinds of good communication navigation equipment to auxiliary navigation of ships, but each year there are still a lot of ship navigation safety accident, caused incalculable economic losses and tens of thousands of casualties. The study found that in bad weather conditions, accidents of ship sailing is far higher than the normal incidence of navigation of the ship. With the progress of computer and a series of related technology, navigation radar simulator is characterized by low cost, short test period, low risk, etc by radar researchers used for navigation of ships, to simulate the of all kinds of situation can reduce shipping drivers in bad weather conditions of the radar echo errors of navigation of ships, as a result of accident.This article embarks from the rain and snow particle real radar echo, and combined with type A radar display of radar receiver received radar echo images, with the strength of the radar echo signal analysis and the distribution of the particles. In the aspect of establishing mathematical model, and through the probability density function of normal distribution and rayleigh distribution probability density function, the weibull distribution probability density function of the analysis and simulation of the real radar echoes, established the use of the three kinds of probability density distribution function to simulate the feasibility of rain and snow particle distribution, and use the particle system theory of rain and snow particle model is established. Radar simulator implementation, mainly divided into two parts, one for the radar of the file system establishment and Settings, secondly, radar simulator shows that implementation. Finally, this paper also simulate the radar scan lines, light shows these two kinds of commonly used model of the radar display.Through the rain and snow particle of the radar echo waveform analysis, to the establishment of mathematical model, and finally realize the rain and snow particle image display, from the simulation of radar and the effect of the image, achieve the expected to get with real rain and snow particle simulation radar image of radar image is relatively similar.
