With the popularity of wearable device, the scene of ownership transfer has appeared more than ever. For example, a student may borrow his classmate's Smart Band to track distance and speed during running. The ownership transfer process of wearable device may face with some security problems. For example, the new owner may want to decrypt the transferring privacy data of the original owner, while the original owner may decrypt the transferring sensitive information of the new owner. In order to solve these problems, we need to guarantee the data security in two aspects: privacy data stored in wearable device itself and the communication channel. Among them, the security of stored data in wearable device depends on the security of the system deployed in device. The security of communication channel depends on the security of communication protocol. In order to resolve the above security problems introduced in the ownership transfer process of wearable device. This paper proposes an ownership transfer protocol, which adopts the techniques such as symmetric encryption, hash function, Bluetooth, and touch screen. The security analysis indicates that, the proposed scheme not only can resist normal channel attacks, but also can resist some special attacks appeared in the ownership transfer scenarios. The experiment analysis shows that, the efficiency of the proposed scheme is quite efficient, and hence it is quite practical.
