Radio frequency identification (RFID) is an efficient automatic identification technology. EPC C1G2 emphasizes low cost and low power consumption, and has become one of the main RFID standards. RFID technology can be more convenient and faster to achieve the transfer of ownership in the bussiness.First, this paper describes the principle of RFID system, introduces the development and current status of RFID technology, describes the typical application of RFID technology, in which lists the the problems in the RFID technology which the transfer of ownership of the problem is the focus of this article. Then, we introduce the concept of security protocols, which leads to the design principles of RFID security protocol. We introduced the ISO in RFID field and focusing on the EPC global Class 1 Gen2 standard. We analyze the existing solutions of transfer of ownership in RFID, and point out their advantages and disadvantages. Then we propose two protocols according to the environment and differenr number of servers proposes:an Ownership transfer protocol used in production chain and an Ownership transfer protocol used in sale.We use a logical method to analyze the safety performance of OPP protocol, in which we make a formal analysis for the OPP protocol by BAN logic and for the OPS protocol by SVO logic. We build a prototype RFID system with FPGA and use it to simulate OPS protocol. We simulate common attacks to analyze the safety performance of OPS protocol. The results show that the proposed OPS protocol can basically meet the low-cost, reliable safety requirements.
