With the development of electronic information technology, digital oscilloscope,as a general signal measuring instrument, has broad application prospects in many high-tech fields, such as aerospace, laser, nuclear explosion, military electronic systems etc. The signals in these fields are high-powered, whose power value are difficult to predict. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce signals power to the range and then apply oscilloscope to do measurement and data acquisition. It is an effective way to protect the oscilloscope. In addition, signal measurement scale in these fields is becoming increasingly wide and requirement on the measurement accuracy and efficiency is becoming increasingly high. The traditional system whose main body is hardware measuring instrument featuring small scale signal measuring fails to meet the demand of the practical production application. As a consequence, centralized control system which integrates instrument program-controlled technology, computer software technology, and network communication technology comes into being.Based on this condition, this paper is about designing and implementing a networked and multi-channel centralized control system of digital oscilloscope. The main contents are as follows:First, this paper introduces some characteristics and the research status of signal measurement in some high-tech fields, analyzes the application prospect and significance of the oscilloscope central control system. The paper puts forward hardware network structure of the system and overall scheme of software and selects the software development platform on the basis of combining the condition of a physical experiment and completing system requirements analysis.Then, the paper involves attenuator module design and device selection realizing100 db attenuation, step 1 db adjustment. It is assembled into program-controlled case for convenient installation. At the same time, the paper explains program-controlled technology, namely, the upper machine sends the SCPI command and receives data through the VISA interface function.Next, the design of software system and implementation of programming is covered. In the aspect of the design of software system, the system function module design follows the design of software system structure. Regarding oscilloscope implementation of programming, the system with good expansibility, can expanddigital oscilloscope in quantity, type, and model by introducing the oscilloscope instruction table design. As for programming implementation of main and vice control terminal communication, the paper analyzes the transfer of command, single file,multi-file etc and designs the advisable data stream receiving process in order to control logic, trying to make sure that the data is correctly received and processed.Finally, an operation test for the system is carried out which shows the system's operation interface and data and evaluates the system.
