With the development of social economy in our country, education is paid more and more attention, especially the students' professional practice education. Therefore, many colleges and universities in our country are actively carrying out experimental teaching,experimental teaching is a very important part of the teaching process. Students can strengthen practical ability training in practice, enhance the understanding of basic knowledge and principles, and cultivate students' innovative ability. At present, the experimental teaching of our country by the restriction of some hard and soft conditions,there is a lack of experimental teaching funding, old experimental equipment,experimental environment security risks and other issues, these factors seriously hindered the development of experimental teaching. With the increase of the number of college students in our country, these factors will further hinder the experimental teaching. Therefore, in order to change this situation, colleges and universities need to change the traditional teaching concept, and pay attention to the experimental teaching.With the development of Internet technology, virtual experiment technology can solve many problems in the experiment teaching. Such as the shortage of experimental equipment, insufficient capital investment, due to the college students increase in the number of lead to the lack of equipment, in a real experimental environment may there are security risks, the advantages of virtual experiment technology can be said is obvious. Virtual experiment technology will promote the development of experimental teaching in our country, this paper with experimental hydraulic robot as an example,through the Java technology to build virtual experiment simulation platform of hydraulic machinery, through virtual experiment simulation platform for design and research of the experiment. It can not only solve the serious shortage of resources, but also can make students more active in the experiment.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1) the importance of virtual experiment teaching in higher education and the development of virtual laboratory at home and abroad are described.(2) proposed the establishment of a mechanical hydraulic virtual experiment simulation platform for mechanical hydraulic experimental teaching ideas; and the involved key techniques and basic knowledge(Java component technology, swing components, CS/BS Architecture) to do a detailed analysis.(3) based on the above research background and technology, design and develop the virtual experiment platform of mechanical hydraulic virtual experiment. The design of the simulation platform includes the main interface of the simulation platform, the virtual instrument, the rules of the experiment(virtual instrument connection rules, the rules of the experimental operation), etc.. The user according to the specific requirements of experiments, the drag from instrument library in the corresponding virtual instrument to the editing area. According to the experimental principle and experimental rules to virtual instrument are connected together, and debug experiment,the final run, view and analysis of the experimental results, and finally achieve the expected goals.(4) Finally, based on the virtual simulation platform of mechanical hydraulic three experimental test shows that the simulation platform can meet the design requirements,can play a good role in experimental teaching.
