The Research And Design Of Software Project Management System For Distributed Team

With the development of enterprise scale and the need of decreasing the HR cost, different processes of a software project may requires the collaborative work between different teams. Hence, the coordination and communication cost between teams has a greatly increasing; the business process which involves trans-department will lead to low efficiency; it is easily to lead to the phenomenon of shirking responsibilities and pointless arguments and it is harder for the manager to control the cost and project process.Based on the above questions, the paper has added the project evaluation subsystem, project planning and task tracking subsystem, the configuration repository authority administration subsystem and project performance measurement baseline subsystem to satisfy the project management need of the distributed team on the basis of the open source project management system, and it has a relevant research and design of these subsystems. Through building a set of mechanism review system integrating the offline and online, the project evaluation subsystem has improved the evaluation efficiency and quality of the distributed team. The project planning and task tracking subsystem has built a set of classified planning and tracking system which can connect the project manager and the distributed team effectively so that the manager can organize and control the risk. Through building the classified authority administration system, the configuration repository authority administration subsystem is convenient for the distributed team to use and enhance the system safety with unified user. The project performance measurement baseline system is set to have a regular measurement of the process and cost deviation of the distributed team; it is good for location and takes measures. At the same time, the system has a reformation on the basis of the open source project management system ZentaoPMS which PHP and PYTHON as the development language; it has a great reduction on the cost of the system development and time.I took the responsibilities of design and development during the development and research process of the system. All reformation work had been finished and implemented in stages. The system was stable and reliable so that it had supported the coordinated work between the construction team, redevelopment team, UI team, requirement team and R&D team and obtained good application effect.
