In recent years, infrared technology, whose practical application has increasingly widespread in various fields with its unique advantages. Continuous zoom performance is applied to infrared optical system, what can be obtained a stable image in different field of view, so that the infrared system has a field of view at different target detection, target tracking, information gathering function.In order to simulate infrared target imaging process from far field to near field, a long-wave infrared zoom optical system is designed, which is joined with Cassegrain projection system, providing simulating parallel beam for tested system, completes an integrated target simulation progress from far field to near field. The zoom system works between 8~12um with a 16 xzoom ratio. The large-aperture projection system with a 300 mm aperture, works in-30~40?.While deducing thermal methods and chromatic aberration methods appropriate material is chosen and focal power is reasonable distributed. The system gets rid of temperature compensation problem and meets the test requirement. After simulation of imaging on unit under tested, the system has advantages of higher zoom ratio,compact design and good image quality.
